ZeeStop Complete System 

The ZeeStop system is designed for cottage and home use on a year round basis. A ZeeStop system  may be cleaned in the water depending on the  weather conditions. Use of a plastic scrub brush is recommended for cleaning the filter.  The new E model features a slip on connection that requires no disassembly. A ZeeStop system does require minimal assembly see our slide show for the procedure. Tools required a screwdriver.

     Use of a Zeestop Filter should prolong the life of your entire plumbing system. Valve seats and washers should last longer without the grit that shortens their life expectance. Hot water tanks should not accumulate sediment brought in with the water, leading to longer element life. Other water filters such, as carbon filters should not need to be replaced as often.

    Zebra Mussels have been found throughout the entire plumbing system from the intake valve, pipes, washing machine, hot water tank, and the toilet reservoir. Dead Zebra Mussels in the plumbing will affect the taste and possibly the bacteria count of your water.

      ZeeStop filter bags may be cleaned without removing them from the apparatus.  Simply use a plastic scrub brush and scrub the outside of the bag.  ZeeStop does NOT RECOMMEND cleaning the filters in your washing machine. You are trying to keep the Zebra Mussels out of your plumbing. Do not invite them in past the filter.
